A fire hit the chemical industry in SC. Firefighters warn of toxic fumes
This Sunday morning (12) a major fire broke out in the chemical industry in Xanxer (SC), about 500 km from Florianopolis.
Around 11:30 a.m., firefighters were called to extinguish a fire at a commercial enterprise.
The corporation warns about the emission of highly chemical fumes. There are still no details about what materials were consumed as a result of the fire, but firefighters ask people to avoid the scene.
The place is in Rua Carlos Emilio Hacker, Linha São Sebastião. A large amount of black smoke can be seen in the videos shot at the scene.
