A thief accompanied by an ankle bracelet was beaten after stealing an electric cable in Aleix

Manaus – The suspect, still unidentified, was beaten on Tuesday night (7) after he was caught stealing electric cables on Rua Júlio Verme, located in the Aleixo district, in the center-south zone of Manaus.
According to preliminary information, the suspect has already been watched by the locals, because it is not the first time that he leaves some houses without electricity by stealing cables.
This time he ended up being caught in the act and beaten until the arrival of the Military Police, who were called by the locals themselves.
The mobile emergency service (SAMU) was called to help the suspect and send him to the hospital.
The suspect was wearing an electronic ankle bracelet, and after his release he will be taken to the police station where he will be dealt with accordingly.
