Owner Jan Duffy says she is in shock and hopes the public will help bring her puppy home.

“Please help me get my dog ​​home! It was stolen from the front of my home on Homestead Rd. yesterday in Scarborough. He is an 8 month old Boston Terrier. My neighbors caught the kidnapping on video. Police have been notified please share… we need him home,” Duffy wrote on social media.

The theft happened just before 6pm in the area of ​​Morningside Ave and Lawrence Ave.

One of Duffy’s neighbor’s surveillance videos captured the theft of a blue, black and white Boston terrier puppy.

The video shows a dark car driving by, stopping, and then the driver’s window opens and Blue is coaxed into the vehicle and allegedly snatched away.

“You know how puppies are, they’ll go to anybody,” Duffy told CTV News.

Const. Alex Li says Toronto police received a call about a stolen puppy at 10:52 p.m. Friday.

“Reporter reported their dog was stolen. Officers attended and filed a report. There is no further information on this call at this time and the investigation is ongoing,” Li said.

Blue has a brother named Beau.

“Does nothing.” He knows his brother is missing,” Duffy said.
