Brazil – Flamengo announced this Saturday (23) the list of affiliated teams for the match against Avaí, for the last round of the first round of the Brazilian championship. Recovering from knee injuries, Rodrigo Caio and Bruno Henrique are staying low. Dorival is set to spare some athletes, targeting the Copa do Brasil quarter-final match with Athletico-PR on Wednesday (27).
Goalkeepers: Hugo Souza, Matheus Cunha and Santos;
Defenders: David Luiz, Léo Pereira, Pablo and Fabricio Bruno;
Backs: Ayrton Lucas, Filipe Luís, Matheuzinho and Rodinei;
Midfielders: De Arrascaeta, Diego Ribas, Everton Ribeiro, Everton Cebolinha, João Gomes, Victor Hugo and Arturo Vidal;
Forwards: Gabigol, Lázaro, Marinho, Matheus França, Pedro and Vitinho.
Thiago Maia picked up a third yellow card in the final leg of the 4-0 defeat against Juventude last Wednesday (20) and is therefore missing the squad. Instead of steering, Dorival Júnior should use Diego Ribas. João Gomes continues as the starter, as Arturo Vidal is recovering physically and has yet to make his debut for the team. A win could put Mais Querido into the long-awaited G6, the qualifying bracket for the Libertadores, should Internacional lose to Palmeiras.
Avaí vs. Flamengo will be played this Sunday (24th), at 11 am (Brazilian time), at the Estádio da Ressacada, in Florianópolis. The duel will be shown on Premiere, on pay per view, but Coluna do Fla brings the most red and black broadcasts on the Internet, via YouTube, with Rafa Penido’s narration.
