Another Samsung Galaxy A 2023 model is getting closer to launch

Last week, Samsung received Bluetooth SIG certification for the Galaxy A54 5G. Another mid-range model from 2023 has now received the same certification. The Galaxy A34 5G joins its more expensive sibling on the Bluetooth page.

As usual, the Bluetooth SIG certification doesn’t reveal much about Samsung’s next mid-range device. The device is listed with the model number SM-A346B. It must be the global version of the phone. The listing shows dual SIM support and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, the same as the Galaxy A54 5G. It also confirms the market name of the device, i.e. Galaxy A34 5G.

These two Samsung smartphones have been in the news for a few months now. However, leaks have been occurring more frequently in recent months. We’re hearing that the Korean giant won’t include a depth sensor on the back of its Galaxy A 2023 models, as confirmed by leaked renders. Both the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G, as well as the Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A24, will have three cameras on the back.

Camera specifications are not known, at least for the Galaxy A34 5G. The more expensive model will have a 50MP main camera. Both models can be switched to 19.5:9 aspect ratio from 20:9. The screen will be 6.5 inches or 6.4 inches diagonally. The leaks revealed a lot more about the Galaxy A54 5G, which you can find here. We expect another model to follow suit in the coming weeks. Samsung could launch both phones in the first quarter of next year or the beginning of the second quarter.

These Galaxy A models will be the top of Samsung’s mid-range for 2023

The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G will be Samsung’s two best mid-range offerings in 2023, in that order. This is because the company is no longer planning to launch the Galaxy A74. The Galaxy A7x line may be gone forever. It almost overlapped with the company’s Fan Edition (FE) models in terms of pricing. The Korean giant is understandably discontinuing the series in favor of new FE devices. The Galaxy S22 FE will bridge the gap between the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy S23.

If rumors are anything to go by, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 series in early February next year. The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G are expected to arrive next, probably in March. These two mid-range models are likely to be followed by the Galaxy S22 FE and Galaxy Tab S8 FE. Finally, Samsung is expected to launch new foldable and flagship tablets in the third quarter of 2023. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we have more information about these Galaxy devices.
