ASUS ZenScreen MB249C – 23.8″ Portable Monitor
ASUS is about to release another outdoor display in the ZenScreen series. The latest model offers a diagonal of almost 24 inches and is additionally equipped with integrated speakers.
The new ZenScreen portable monitor model with the designation MB249C is equipped with an IPS panel with a diagonal of 23.8 “, displaying the image in FullHD resolution.
The matrix was covered with a matte coating, and the advantage is of course wide viewing angles of 178 degrees vertically and horizontallye. The monitor is equipped with a functional stand that allows you to put the device at a right angle – the tilt range is 12 to 60 degrees.

A base for a great addition
However, the possibilities for adjusting screen settings are much greater – the set also includes a special support screwed to the table topwhich allows, among other things to use the swivel function or adjust the height in the range of 150 mm.
The monitor is equipped with two connectors: USB type C with a charging function with a power of 60W, and HDMI. There’s also a headphone jack, and two 1W stereo speakers are integral to the monitor. The equipment is connected to the power supply using an external power supply.

Vision conscious people will appreciate the use of a special filter that reduces the presentation of harmful blue light. Additionally, the display has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for protection against harmful flicker.
For now, we don’t know how much we’ll have to pay for the new ASUS external display – but you can expect it to be one of the most expensive models of its kind on the market.
