Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Luis Roberto Barroso left the ICU this Thursday afternoon and went to the room, but is still under medical supervision and without a discharge forecast, according to his advice.
He was hospitalized in the ICU of the Sírio-Libanês Hospital in Brazil after two emergency operations on his digestive system. The adviser of the court said earlier that “the recovery of the minister is expected”.
At the end of February, Barroso was already hospitalized to treat an incisional hernia caused by a previous operation, and the judge even participated in the March 1 plenary session via video conference. Afterwards, however, he had two episodes of intestinal obstruction, requiring two new procedures.
