Famous Rhode Island partygoers Bill Murray and Wynonna Judd were both there Monday night, dining separately, according to New Bedford radio station Fun 107. Diner Chantal Gaston told the outlet, “They were both seated at separate tables . They saw each other, hugged and took pictures (together) so I took pictures of them.”
The night before, Judd participated in the Newport Folk Fest’s epic finale called “Joni Jams,” which saw folk legend Joni Mitchell return to Fort Adams for the first time since 1969. Meanwhile, Murray was in town for a sold-out concert. benefit performance for the Redwood Library & Athenæum Tuesday night at the Jane Pickens Theater in Newport, featuring Jan Vogler, Mira Wang and Vanessa Perez.
You know what this means. Rhode Island, keep your eyes open. Murray is apt to pop up anywhere, and he’s already come to this part of the woods.
