Due to a bomb threat, an Easyjet passenger plane arriving from London was escorted by a fighter jet on its approach to the Spanish holiday island of Menorca. The incident happened just before 5pm on Sunday, Cadena Ser radio station and other Spanish media reported on Monday, citing the responsible police unit, the Guardia Civil. Authorities confirmed this information upon request.
