Officers from the 14th Division were conducting crowd control near the King St.-Bathurst St. area when they heard gunshots.

A man was found in the club without vital signs – Brar – and police began CPR before paramedics arrived. He was taken to hospital in critical condition and later died.

A 24-year-old woman found inside suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She was treated and released from the hospital.

There is no suspicious information.
