Caixa completes investigation into harassment allegations by Pedro Guimarez

Caixa has confirmed the end of an internal investigation into allegations of moral and sexual harassment against employees of the institution by the former president of the bank, Pedro Guimarães. According to Caixa, the conclusions were sent to the “competent authorities”.

“The bank does not publish the document, because only the competent authorities will be able to violate the confidentiality of the contents,” the bank’s written response says.

Guimarez was removed from the Caixa presidency on June 29 after the Metrópoles portal revealed that the MPF was investigating allegations of abuse. He was replaced by Daniella Marquez.
