CNN Brazil introduces its director of journalism

CNN Brasil has reinstated Givanildo Menezes as director of journalism. The professional takes over the vacant position of Fabian Falsi, who recently left the station.
Giva, as he is known in the market, started his career at Rádio Educativa in Campinas, and later worked at the website Conversa Afiada and Record TV, where he was director of journalism in Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro and editor-in-chief in São Paulo.
He has already worked for CNN Brasil, having participated in the creation of the station in 2020 and for the implementation of the offices in Brasília and Rio de Janeiro and was the director of strategy in São Paulo. He left the news channel in January 2022, when he returned to Record TV.
