The Aurora R15 is undoubtedly one of Alienware’s most powerful gaming PCs. This hardware just got another update over the past few months, bringing a new generation of Nvidia graphics cards inside.
In mid-September, we informed you that Dell was launching a new version of a popular computer from a very high shelf (both in terms of performance and price), namely the Aurora R15.
The main novelty, but not the only one, was the appearance of the 13th generation Intel processor from the Raptor Lake family. We are talking about the Core i9-13900K model, that is, a 24-core processor with a clock speed of up to 5.8 GHz.
RTX 4090 on board means a good PC is even better
Now is the time for another novelty in the best configurations of this model – Alienware has decided use the new generation of graphics chips from the GeForce RTX 40 family. Thus, it is possible to buy a PC with a GeForce RTX 4090 card.
Interestingly, so far there is no indication that the configuration with RTX 4080 graphics will go on sale – the other configurations are based on the best proposals of the GeForce RTX 30 series.
Of course, due to the GPU update, Alienware has also bet on 1350W efficient power supply – such a reserve should certainly be enough to support even the most power-hungry GPUs. Of course, the whole structure is still enclosed in a very efficient and, just as importantly, well-ventilated case.
Finally, let’s leave the least interesting thing, namely the price of this computer. This, of course, is far from weak – prices for this model in Europe start at EUR 2,679, or around PLN 12,500. And the configuration with the GeForce RTX 4090 is at least several thousand zlotys more expensive …
