In addition to paying tribute to Sao Paulo governor Tarcisio de Freitas at the Lide lunch this Monday (13), former governor João Doria praised Fernando Haddad’s leadership at the Ministry of Finance.
Doria said he appreciates “the conciliatory efforts made by the minister so that there is no ideological or political summit, but an understanding of the market.”
“In less than three months, Minister Fernando Haddad conquered, I would even say he surprised, the private sector as a whole,” said Doria.
The former governor also says he sees Haddad opening dialogue with the financial sector in Sao Paulo.
“Almost every week the minister studies the market here, and I feel that this is a positive reflection of humility and knowing how to listen. I also understand that at this moment there has been a freeze on the unnecessary dispute with the Central Bureau of Investigation,” he said.
Doria praised Ministers Flavio Dino (Justice) and José Mucio (Defense) and President Lula himself for “uncompromising democratic defense of the country and the Constitution”. The former governor also noted a “level shift” in the attitude towards environmental issues under the leadership of Ministers Marina Silva (Environment) and Sonia Guajajara (Indigenous Peoples).
