The police are looking for witnesses after the traffic accident that happened in the city center on December 13 (Tuesday). As a result of the accident, a cyclist received minor injuries.

According to his first statement, the cyclist was on the Gross Heimstrasse towards the Wittekindstrasse around 15:15. The Dortmund police said that a 52-year-old man suddenly had to brake hard at the top of the local barber shop because the pedestrian crossed the bicycle street. Apparently he hadn’t noticed the cyclist

After the accident, the woman ran away

The person who caused the accident disappeared from the scene shortly after. Two young, unknown men helped the injured 52-year-old man.

Police are now looking for these assistants and others who witnessed the crash and may provide information about the pedestrian.

Witnesses are asked to contact the Dortmund-Mitte police station at 0231/132-1121.
