Far Cry 5, Mortal Shell and Judgment are coming to PlayStation Plus this month

PlayStation has revealed the list of new games it will be adding to its PS Plus line-up next week, and it’s packed with tempting titles to sink your teeth into this Christmas. So what does it come down to December 20🇧🇷

Check out the gameplay trailer for Judgment coming to PS Plus this week here.

First, those with PS Plus Extra and Premium will be able to immerse themselves in three different Far Cry games: Far Cry 5, Far Cry New Dawn and Far Cry Primal. Admittedly, they’re not the best games in the series, but they’re still worth checking out if you like Far Cry. Far Cry 5 is undoubtedly the highlight here, giving you the opportunity to take on cult leader Joseph Seed and liberate the community of Hope County, Montana.

Along with that comes WWE 2K22, allowing you to play alone or with friends as your favorite WWE Superstars. This one won’t arrive on December 20th, but we can expect it to be added to the service soon.

Get your ears ready for VG247’s Greatest Gaming Podcast of All Time. It’s brilliant and it’s not just the vision we have as the people who create it. 30 minutes, funny, and you can even play at home shouting out your suggestions. We won’t listen to you, but you will enjoy it! Download all podcast episodes here.

There’s also Mortal Shell, another RPG that will test your patience. It’s known for being brutal, merciless and clearly inspired by Dark Souls, but don’t let that put you off. This game is still different from other Soulslike titles, with a mysterious story to go along with it.

We will then see two more Yakuza titles added to PS Plus: Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Yakuza 6: Song of Life. Next to them, and from the same team, the Verdict will arrive. Verdict is a psychological thriller and adventure that puts you in the shoes of a shy lawyer turned private detective as he makes his way through an underground criminal network.

PS Plus will also have Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle Earth: Shadow of War added to the service. These two games, as you might expect, take you to Middle Earth. Surprise! In both you will also face the evil that is Sauron. Again, no surprise here.

You might already think there are a lot of games to consider, but more are being added. Accordingly, there is something for almost everyone: The Pedestrian, Evil Genius 2, Adventure Time Pirates of the Enchiridion, Ben 10: Power Trip, Gigantosaurus The Game, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Ultimate Edition, Worms WMD and The Escapists 2 . will be added.

Last but not least, it’s time to talk about which PlayStation classics are coming to PS Plus Premium. So far the selection of classic titles has been pretty poor, but it seems that it is gradually expanding the selection of games. Players can expect Ridge Racer 2, Heavenly Sword, Oddworld: Abe’s Exodus and Pinball Heroes in the classic catalog.

That’s a dozen games arriving in time for the holiday season, and while we’d love to see more classics than what’s already on offer, we can’t complain too much this month. What do you think of this month’s PS Plus selection? Let us know!
