Former minister Eliseu Padilha died at the age of 77

Former minister Eliseu Padilha (photo) died this Monday night (13) at the age of 77 from stomach cancer. He was treated for the disease in Porto Alegre hospital. The gaucho politician leaves his wife and six children.

Emedebista was Minister of Transport from 1997 to 2001 in the government of Fernando Henrique Cardoso (PSDB), Chief Minister of the Secretariat of Civil Aviation in 2015 under Dilma Rousseff (PT) and Chief Minister of the Civil Chamber. in the government of Michel Temer (MDB).

Eliseu Padilha was also a federal deputy for Rio Grande do Sul and mayor of Tramanda (RS).
