Fourth stage blackout starts from 9am – SABC News

Eskom has announced that a Stage Four continuous blackout will be in place from 9am this morning until further notice.

The power company says this is due to further damage and delayed return of generator units to service.

Due to further breakdowns and delayed return of generator sets to service, Stage 4 load shedding will be applied from 09:00 until further notice. Eskom will issue a full statement in due course.
