Considered one of the main parks of Porto Alegre (RS), Moinho dos Vento is undergoing a new revitalization and will receive a new signage and installation project signed by Gad.
The initiative aims to create a functional signaling system that reconciles and connects the nature of the so-called “Parcão” and the neighborhood of Moinhos de Vento with the people who use the park.
To reinforce the connection between place and people, Gad tried to set the idea of the city in motion, using the icon of the mill blades and the colors of autumn for discreet signs that at the same time showed the route and the walking of the families. Inside the site. There will be a total of 46 signs, including running and walking directions, pointers and directional signs.
“The signs that are part of it strengthen people’s relationship with the Parcão. It forms the landscape with elements inspired by mill blades, offering close communication that fosters identity, engagement, motivation and belonging,” said Leonardo Koboldt Araujo, Partner and Head of Gad’Experience.
The restoration and maintenance has been made possible thanks to the brands that maintain the park, such as Melnick, Panvel, Tramontina, Zaffari, Hospital Moinhos de Ventos and Porto Alegre City Hall.
