Gboard is without a doubt the best keyboard app for Android thanks to its excellent keyboard performance and great integration with Google services. Well, the keyboard just got better. Google has updated Gboard with new languages, editing tools, and customization options.
Gboard is now supported 22 new Indic languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, etc. In addition to support for new languages, the update also adds support for Kinyarwanda and Waray. Gboard also offers transliteration capabilities for all new languages. That means if you type “aapko holi ki hardik shubhkamnay”, it will be typed as “आपको होली की हार्दिक शुभकामनायें”.
In addition to the new languages, Gboard also offers better editing options. In the “G” menu of the keyboard you will find the new icon for text editing, where you can use the Cursor control and options for selecting text, cutting, copying or pasting text . With the new update, you can also the size and position the keyboard adjust. This one can be useful if you find the keyboard is too small or too big for your liking.
