Other Twitter display settings
Now that you’ve successfully enabled dark mode on Twitter, let’s look at some other things you can change to make Twitter more visually appealing. The app developers do a great job of making sure you have lots of features to improve text size, contrast, etc. Here are some other things you should change while changing your Twitter settings.
Reduce traffic
Another feature you can enable on Twitter besides dark mode is reduced motion. As you scroll through your Twitter feed, you’ll come across animations and live engagements. This feature limits them.
Go to Settings like we did above. Then tap Accessibility, Display, and Language settings. Instead of pressing the show option, navigate to Accessibility. Press Reduce traffic rocker switch.
Note: These instructions work for both iOS and Android devices.
High Contrast (iOS only)
If you have trouble seeing clearly on the Twitter screen, you can increase the color contrast for the dark and light modes. Turning this switch on will deepen the background and lighten the text even more, making the two easier to distinguish.
You can activate a high-contrast appearance by opening Settings and support and click on Settings and privacy. Then click Accessibility, display and languages. Finally, tap Accessibility and toggle the switch to Increase color contrast.
The lights of Twitter

You can even change more display settings to make the app more enjoyable. Just follow the steps above to enable dark mode for Twitter on the mobile app.
