The manager of the FOOD service forced them to spit into the customer’s food for a shocking reason.
In the two-part video TikTok, Mitchell recalls an “uncomfortable” experience.
“I had the craziest day at work today,” says Mitchell.
“There are so many juicy details.”
Mitchell goes on to say that they were the only server and there was no host, so they did “multiple tasks,” even though it was a slow day.
But then someone walked into the restaurant and caught Mitchell’s attention.
“He’s really damn cute. He’s extremely attractive,” says Mitchell.
“I wouldn’t say I’m overly flirtatious, but I’m putting in some extra sugar.”
“I really understand that it responds well to my extra sugar.”
Mitchell accepts the man’s order and brings the food to the table when it is ready.
But the customer does not eat the food.
Mitchell walks over to make sure everything’s okay, and the man says, “I have such a weird request.”
“I was wondering if you could spit on my food.”
Mitchell says they were sure they misheard the customer.
“I have no doubt it was a mistake,” says Mitchell.
But the customer says, “I was wondering if you’d spit in my food.”
“I would really, really love that,” Mitchell says, the man said.
According to Mitchell, the customer was urgent, but he was not convinced that he was allowed to do so.
“I think I’d probably get fired, my manager probably wouldn’t be okay,” Mitchell said.
But the customer asked for an interview with Mitchell’s manager.
Mitchell then realizes that the manager who worked that day “values the customer experience over anything else.”
Mitchell claims that after talking to a customer, the manager said, “Just do it.”
“I tell myself it’s obviously a tangled thing, I don’t want to do it,” Mitchell said.
“Dude, do it, it’s not a big deal,” Mitchell said, the manager said.
The customer reportedly told the manager that he would tip Mitchell “very, very well” if they spat into the food.
“I went and I felt so uncomfortable,” Mitchell said.
Mitchell spat into the food, but the customer was not satisfied.
“Come on, spit into my food, just spit,” says Mitchell, the customer said.
The customer then had Mitchell spit on all the individual parts of the food.
Mitchell says the customer ate the food quickly and then left a $ 100 tip.
A few hours later, however, the restaurant was called by its public relations and general manager, saying that the customer had left a review on Yelp, stating that “they will fill your food with orders”.
The manager was then fired at the scene, says Mitchell.
Together, the two videos have almost 2.5 million views.
TikTokers colleagues commented on both videos and shared their thoughts on suffering.
“I mean, it’s not real, but when I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life, it’s 1000% believable,” someone wrote.
“You shouldn’t have been forced to do it 100%. It was supposed to be automatic no,” said another.
“I’m SO SUITABLE for you,” another man wrote.
