IF Baiano is accepting applications to specialize in teaching chemistry and physics

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology (IF Baiano) has opened the registration period for the optional specialization process. Teaching high school chemistry and physics. According to the report: the institution’s total offer is 30 vacancies for Campus Senhor do Bonfim.

The specialization has a workload of 435 hours and will have a thesis (60 hours). According to the statement, the objectives of the course are:

• I – To improve the practice of teaching chemistry and physics subjects in high school.
• II – Contribute to the training of teachers in other fields who already teach chemistry and/or physics; It is
• III – To improve human resources in the state of Bahia to work in formal and informal areas in teaching high school chemistry and physics.

Selection process

Only students who have completed graduate studies, preferably in chemistry or physics, can participate in this selection process. The classification of candidates will have three stages.

Phase 1 consists of the analysis of the research proposal and is deductive and categorical in nature. Phase 2 consists of analyzing the Lattes curriculum and Phase 3 will have an interview. Therefore, at the time of registration, candidates should send all the documents required through public notification.

Results

According to the schedule, the results of the 1st and 2nd rounds are scheduled to be published on April 24, and the funds will be received on the following 26th. Those approved in these two rounds will be invited for the 3rd round (Interview) from May 3 to 12. IF Baiano will publish the results of the 3rd round on May 16, and the receipt of funds on the following 17th.

The publication of the preliminary result is scheduled for May 22. After analyzing the resources: the final result will be announced on June 1.
