Is approved. Anita will shoot a series on Netflix, “Elite”
Anita, a 29-year-old artist from Rio de Janeiro, is in the cast of the Netflix series Elite. Production details are still being kept under wraps, but the artist has teased what will be her official debut as an actress with photos and comments posted on Instagram.
Anitta appears characterized by production and bright! “A girl from Rio you already know… is about to enter Las Encinas. Anita joins the cast of Elita,” reads the text published on the social network.
The role marks Anita’s official debut as an actress. The artist has always clearly expressed her desire to stage. In April 2022, during the “Grammy” awards ceremony in Las Vegas (USA), he said that he is preparing two acting projects.
Plot and casting
Elit, a Spanish soap opera, tells the story of three teenagers from modest backgrounds who win a scholarship to an expensive school. The group finds itself mired in prejudice and resistance. The three students become emotionally involved and are suddenly confronted with a violent crime.
“This team made me remember that I have value,” Anita wrote on her Instagram profile.
The series is in its seventh season. Anita joins a cast made up of Andre Lamolia, Valentina Zener, Alvaro de Juana, Carmen Aroufat, Alex Pastrana, Ana Boquesa, Anders Puig, Nadia Al Said and Omar Ayous. Season 7 debutants will also include Fernando Lindez (SKAM), Maribel Verdu (Now & Then) and Leonardo Sbarraglia (Dor e Glória).

Personal trajectory
Anitta’s life story is similar to the scholarship trio in the Elite series. Also of humble origin, Larissa de Macedo Machado, the artist’s given name, was born in Honorio Gurgel, north of Rio de Janeiro, and pursued her dream of the stage since childhood.
