Jessica-Rose Clark meets Tainara Lisboa at UFC on May 13.

The women’s bantamweight is scheduled for UFC on May 13, 2023.

Jessica-Rose Clark (11-8, 1NC) will welcome Tainara Lisboa (5-2) in the Octagon at a card whose venue or location has not yet been officially announced.

Clark from Australia will compete for the first time since losing to Julija Stoliarenko in July 2022. “Miss Jessy Jess” has lost her last two bouts by submission. In both cases touch the bar arm. before those defeats Clarke secured two-on-two wins over Sarah Alpar and Jocelyn Edwards.

Tainara Lisboa has won three fights in a row and has competed against Shooto Brasil and Thunder Fight in her native Brazil. The 31-year-old first tested the waters in MMA in 2016, losing a fight with Norma Dumont Feather. The current UFC women’s weightlifter, she returned to the cage in 2019, playing the sport full-time and has posted a 5-1 record since then.

Lisboa previously competed in Muay Thai against 2010 UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. The Muay Thai champion signed with UFC last year.

No fights other than Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Tainara Lisboa have been announced or reported for this upcoming May 13 UFC event.
