O King Charles III earned approximately R$6.1 million from the sale of 14 racehorses that were from Queen Elizabeth II. The monarch, who died aged 96 on September 8 this year, loved animals and had 37 horses. In fact, the Queen won the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot with the mare Estimate in 2013. Among the horses sold is Love Affairs, who was the Queen’s last winner at Goodwood. Another that was bought, for around R$920,000, was Tactical, who won the Royal Ascot 2020. In addition, Just Fine went for R$1.8 million. Now, after the sale, the family still has 23 animals. All are expected to be sold within three years.
