LeBron James didn’t hold back when he expressed his opinion about Boston fans.

Speaking to “The Shop,” which premiered Friday, James said TD Garden is a place where fans can take the game away from you.

When asked why he hates Boston fans, James replied, “Because they’re racist as f***.”

“They’re going to say (anything) — and that’s fine,” James said. “I mean, hell, it’s my life. That’s the s*** I’ve been dealing with all my life. I don’t mind that. Like, I hear. Like if I hear someone nearby, I’ll quickly check on them. I’m moving on to the game.”

James, who is part owner of the Red Sox, said the fans in Boston will say whatever they want or maybe throw something at him. He added that a fan threw a beer at him as he was leaving the game.

“It was like a F*** LBJ shirt,” James said. “I believe they probably sold him on the frickin’ team. The Celtics had something with that s***.”

Soccer star Marcus Rashford has admitted that he set himself the expectation that his home fans would love him and the away fans would not. He said that if you’re not in that situation as a professional athlete, you’re probably not doing something you should be doing.

“It’s a beautiful thing,” James replied.

James’ remarks begin at the 21:53 mark of the YouTube video.
