Lego likes to surprise us from time to time with an interesting project made of bricks popular all over the world. Their latest offering should appeal primarily to gamers. A Lego computer to pull off Cyberpunk 2077? Here you are.
A computer made of LEGO bricks
It’s not the first time Lego has built a computer case out of bricks, but this project certainly deserves a mention. The haunted house, which consists of more than 20,000 bricks, was prepared especially for Halloween. The Ghost Festival is only a week away, but the Danes decided to show off their project a little earlier. And it’s hard to be surprised at them, because they have an electrifying impression. You can see the whole thing in the video below, the sense of detail is simply incredible and the creativity of the creators is sometimes surprising. But the best part is that it is a real, fully functional computer with water cooling and efficient components. See for yourself.
The hardware configuration of this monstrous house includes an Intel Core i9-12900KF processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 graphics chip. The whole thing is liquid-cooled, and the character of the whole structure is given by transparent tubes filled with a green liquid that reacts to UV radiation. Even the location and color of the cooling system fans are not random and underline the atmosphere of terror. The creators of this project approached the matter very conscientiously, the power button was hidden under the figure of one of the gargoyles, but also several others responsible for, for example, lighting. Computer components are also guarded by a number of scary figures referring to popular motifs from horror films.
The whole thing sure looks phenomenal, though I’m afraid it won’t fit on every desk. However, this does not change the fact that with such performance we can easily play both Crysis and Cyberpunk 2077. It is even worse if you want to transport such a computer somewhere …
