Following the big news, the Tambisa-born player took to social media to say goodbye to the club and its supporters.

“As a young boy, you could only dream of wearing the shirt of your childhood club, and today I am a man who fulfilled his dream,” the attacking midfielder said on his Facebook page.

“For this, I would like to thank Chairman Mr Kaiser Mordon, Football Manager Mr Bobby Morton, all the coaches I played for (past and present), the physiotherapists, all the team doctors, my team-mates (past and present), The Corsi and everyone who put in all the work behind the scenes at Kaiser Chief Village and everyone associated with Kaiser Chief.

“|I wish you all the best, I always believe this will never be seen again, but goodbye. Rise up the Khosi Nation,” concluded Manyama.

Meanwhile, the Glamour Boys have begun looking for a replacement as the big rebuilding continues.
