The Ministry of Agrarian Development is to announce tomorrow (14) the resignation of Guillerme Augusto Sánchez Ribeiro (photo) as Executive Director of the Board of Directors of Conab, Consad..

Guilherme Ribeiro chairs Conab (Companhia Nacional de Abasticimento), a position to which Lula nominated Edgar Pretto, a member of the PT, which is linked to the MST in Rio Grande do Sul and lost in the 2022 state government elections.

The trips were accompanied by Paulo Teixeira, the Minister of Agrarian Development responsible for the dismissal of Guillerme Ribeiro.

Ribeiro will fill the vacant seat on Conab’s board of directors Silvio Isoppo Porto, who is a professor at UFRB (Recôncavo da Bahia Federal University) and joined the transitional government on the recommendation of Deputy Pedro Ucha (PT-SC).
