Moraes suspends parts of new Administrative Misconduct Act

STF Minister Alexandre de Moraes (photo) suspended parts of the new Administrative Misconduct Act this Tuesday (27).

The decision grants a request from the National Association of Public Ministry Members.

Among the vetoed sections is a measure that would have prevented the punishment of parties and foundations accused of embezzlement.

Moraes also suspended part of the law that paid off “automatic” misconduct if the defendant was acquitted in the criminal area for the same fact and another fact decided that “loss of social function”. will apply only to the position held by the defendant committing illegality.
