Nicholas Ferreira’s case has sparked controversy for the House Ethics Committee

The controversy involving federal deputy Nicolas Ferreira (PL-MG). sparked controversy over leadership of the House Ethics Committeethe collegial body responsible for analyzing applications for impeachment for breach of deference.
So far, the Board of Ethics has not yet been established, but at least four acronyms are challenging the college’s order. PT, from the management base; PL, acronym for Jair Bolsonaro; Brazilian Union and PP.
Mayor’s spokesman Arthur Lira (PP-AL), however advocate that the college be run a “neutral party” more specifically, PP. In the last legislature, the panel was chaired by current Tourism Minister Juscelino Filho (União-MA).
Filho was a performance considered discreet, following the impeachment process only with the approval of the mayor.
