What does the Palit GeForce RTX 4090 GameRock OC look like and what does it offer?
Accessories are as for RTX 4090, ie. we have a holder, an ARGB cable and an adapter from the new connector to 4 × 8-pin. So you can easily connect the card to the power supply with 8-pin plugs. A holder would definitely be useful, after all we are dealing with a really big and heavy build. The cable allows you to synchronize the backlight with the motherboard
The appearance of the Palit GeForce RTX 4090 GameRock OC is definitely interesting. We also have side lighting around the fans. Here is the diamond lining. I think it looks good, but I realize not everyone likes it. The card is also very well done and we are dealing with a really great model here.

The graphics is 329.4 x 137.5 x 71.5 mm. Thus, it occupies 3.5 PCI slots, and the weight is 1.95 kg. It’s definitely a heavy build, but it’s not the longest I’ve dealt with either. Power comes from a 16-pin connector, but a 4x 8-pin adapter is included. The power supply offered is, of course, 1000 W. Three Gale Hunter fans are responsible for cooling, which of course work semi-passively. We also have the following image outputs: 1x HDMI 2.1 and 3x DisplayPort 1.4a.
The card has a factory OC, and the boost clock is 2610 MHz. We also have dual BIOS: Performance and Silent. With the last boost, the clock frequency is lower and amounts to 2520 MHz – so the results in games will be slightly lower. There is also a physical switch, although its operation could be simpler. However, with the benchmark and Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition 2560 × 1440 px (BIOS Performance), the average clocks were 2820 MHz.

Information about the tests can be found in this article.
Tested at 1920 x 1080 resolution
In the first resolution we deal with an obstacle. The results in many games are only slightly higher than those at 2560 x 1440. Of course, the card itself records excellent results.
Tested at 2560 x 1440 resolution
In the next resolution we have great results again. The card is also very similar to the competing RTX 4090 models.
Tested at 3840 x 2160 resolution
The RTX 4090 is of course made for 3840 x 2160. The results are great and you can easily run games at maximum detail and enjoy smooth gameplay.
The card does not heat up much under load and the temperatures are good. There is a slight difference between the BIOSes, but this is apparently due to the clock speed drop in quiet mode.
The Palit GeForce RTX 4090 GameRock OC is also a quiet card. In Performance mode it is similar to ZOTAC and in Silent it is really good. The fans don’t spin at idle, so we have perfect silence.
Power consumption is similar to the other RTX 4090s. It’s worth noting, however, that there is a slight difference between the BIOSes.
I overclocked using MSI Afterburner. In the table below you will find the values with which I was able to increase the core and memory times. I considered stable operation of the card not only the lack of throwing games on the desktop, but also the absence of artifacts during the operation of games. Below you will also find the average OC scores of two games in three resolutions, as well as temperature, volume and power consumption. I tested the card with dual BIOS with OC / Performance mode enabled. The tested model was able to overclock with 160 MHz on the core and 200 MHz on the memory.
The Palit GeForce RTX 4090 GameRock OC undoubtedly offers peak performance. The results are great and at all resolutions the card is between the ZOTAC and Asus models, but the differences are really small. The graphics are also designed for a resolution of 3840 x 2160, where it performs really phenomenally, providing completely smooth gameplay.

Palit GeForce RTX 4090 GameRock OC Test – Summary
The Palit GeForce RTX 4090 GameRock OC is another RTX 4090 model that definitely deserves a recommendation. The kit includes a holder and a power adapter that allows you to connect the card to the power supply without a new plug. The graphics look very good in my opinion, but the design is very distinctive and not necessarily for everyone. I have no doubt that it is well made though.
It performed great in tests and guaranteed great performance in all tested resolutions thanks to the factory OC. The card is also relatively cool and quiet, and power consumption is similar to the competition. The manufacturer has not forgotten about the dual BIOS, but in Silent mode the boost frequency is lower, which will affect performance. You can also tweak the graphics pretty well and increase performance. It’s also worth recalling that the RTX 4090 has 24 GB of GDDR6X memory, and Nvidia is preparing DLSS 3.0 for us.
The tested model is therefore another great performance of RTX 4090. I can definitely recommend you to buy it – you will surely be satisfied.
