The Mayor of Barnstaple, Councilor Louisa York, officially opened the new Papa John’s in Boutport Street this week.
The store has created 20 new jobs in our historic market town.
Papa John’s franchisee, Dr. Renato Raho, confirmed: “We are excited to expand into the South West and develop further stores in Devon and Cornwall on behalf of the Papa John’s brand, whilst also providing employment opportunities within our local community.
“The Barnstaple opening follows the recent opening of a store in Newton Abbot and we have several more Papa John’s opening in the region in the coming months.
“Finding great team members is important to us because they are our secret ingredient to success! For example, we are currently recruiting additional drivers and delivery riders for our e-bikes and scooters to support all of our new stores.
“Opportunities are flexible and suit reliable, committed full-time team players or those looking to earn extra income with part-time work for just a few hours in the evening. All our team members have access to our online training academy, which means they can progress to other roles within the organization if they choose.
“The opening of our new stores has been well received and we are delighted that our premium pizza, made with only the freshest and best ingredients, is now available to more family and friends, whether they live locally or are visiting the area on holiday. Pizza can really make a meal on any occasion special and we are now ready to deliver!
“When we opened Barnstaple we were able to offer special launch offers on a collection of pizzas which customers loved! It was great to welcome Councilor Louisa York as part of our official opening and we are now looking forward to expanding our supply chain once we are fully up and running.”
For those interested in operating a multi-unit franchise or opening in a “non-traditional” location, Papa John’s offers incentives in addition to world-class support, comprehensive training and national marketing.
