PicPay enters as an Uber ride payment option
PicPay to Uber (play: PicPay)
Uber (Android, iOS) added PicPay (Android, iOS) as a payment method within its platform. With membership, users will be able to pay races with the balance in their digital wallet, an alternative to cash payments, Pix, PayPal and credit and debit cards.
According to the two companies, the PicPay option in Uber starts rolling out to users starting this Tuesday, the 31st.
To add the wallet as a payment method, the user must:
- Open the Uber app;
- Select payment;
- Then click on add a form of payment or repayment;
- Select PicPay.
After registering PicPay within the mobility application, the user must select PicPay as a payment method for the ride or delivery, and the amount will be charged from the wallet and, if the user wishes, from the cards registered in the wallet.
