Pilton Bluecoats visit Downing Street

Seline Saxby MP welcomed Pilton Bluecoat CofE Junior School to Westminster Junior School last week and they even had the chance to visit Downing Street.

North Devon MP Seline Saxby has invited all our schools to visit Westminster if she visits London.

Mrs Saxby said: “It’s a joy to meet so many students and teachers from North Devon when they visit Westminster and we can get them to Downing Street any minute now for a photo in front of the famous number 10 door.

“If a trip to Westminster is part of a school visit to London, they may be eligible for financial support towards travel costs. If your school has planned or is about to plan a trip to London, please contact my office or go directly to the Parliamentary Education Service.

“I always make time to visit our schools and have recently been to two politics and careers lunchtime clubs to talk, listen and discuss political issues and indeed politics as a career option. I also welcome students doing internships in both my constituency and Westminster offices, places and time are limited but if anyone is interested please get in touch.
