PLAYBOI Carti has sparked concern after he was spotted taking a terrifying tumble off stage during a wild gig at the Wire festival.
Videos of the artist’s meltdown went viral as fans were shocked that the rapper was okay.
At the Wire Festival, Playboi Carti was giving his full performance when an accident happened on stage.
The rapper was running backwards while singing into his microphone when he fell off the stage.
Playboi Carti must have misjudged the distance left on stage as he was caught in the moment and rarely missed a beat after falling right off the edge.
The rapper bounced back unscathed and continued to perform, though the video quickly went viral on social media.
THE FANS ARE RESPONDING
One fan commented: “How long did Carti think she was on stage? Omg.”
Another wrote: “He was just in the zone.”
The fans knew Carti was fine, so they leaned into the pranks at this point.

Born Jordan Terrell Carter, the rapper and songwriter is known professionally as Playboi Carti.
He is recognized for his experimental musical style, gothic fashion and mysterious public persona.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Playboi was originally signed to local underground label Awful Records before signing to AWGE Label ASAP Mob under Interscope Records.
After gaining a cult following early in his career, he gained mainstream attention in 2017.
Playboi’s debut mixtape was released in April 2017 and included the Billboard Hot 100 singles Magnolia and Woke Up Like This.
His debut studio album Die Lit (2018) peaked at #3 on the US Billboard 200.
After a two-year hiatus, he released his highly anticipated second album, Whole Lotta Red, in 2020.
The LP debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and became his first release to reach the top of the chart.
The rapper also dated Iggy Azalea.
Azalea and Carti broke up in late 2020 amid cheating rumors.
At the time of the breakup, the Australian rapper was writing stories about her breakup on her Instagram.
“You lost a real number one,” she wrote. “…People take loyalty for granted, and that’s why I’d rather be alone. One thing I’ll never understand is how liars live with themselves. Don’t these shits eat you all?”
A few hours later, she returned to her social media to clarify what she meant.
“What I mean last night is that I’m raising my son alone and I’m not in a relationship.
The former couple reportedly met in 2018 while Carti was on tour.
They were living together at the end of the year, Billboard reports.
In 2019, Carti opened up about his relationship with Azalea to The Fader.
“Once I started talking to her, I just cut everyone off,” he said at the time.
Azalea welcomed her son with Carti in April 2020, just months before their split.
She announced the news about the baby on her social networks.
“I have a son,” she wrote.
