Police search for two women after FedEx vehicle, stolen packages

Toronto police are searching for two women who allegedly stole a FedEx vehicle downtown.

Police said on Wednesday, July 6 at 5:40 p.m., a FedEx employee was making a delivery in the Adelaide St. area. and Bathurst St., and when the employee returned, the vehicle was gone.

He was later found in an unoccupied car park in the Adelaide St area. and Portland St.

The vehicle was not damaged, but the keys and packages were missing.

The first woman is described as 5ft 7m tall, with a stocky build, long dark hair and was wearing a brown tank top, blue jean shorts and black running shoes at the time and was carrying a black rucksack.

The second woman is described as 5ft 7m, of thin build, with short dark hair and was wearing a red top, black trousers, black shoes and a brightly colored rucksack at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-1400 or call Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
