Heavy rains in Sao Paulo (photo) this Wednesday (8) caused flooding in several areas of the capital city of Sao Paulo and the death of a woman in the southern zone of the city.O Globo reports.
The victim was found in the Moema district, in a car submerged in the flood. Firefighters managed to get him out of the car, but he had already suffered a cardiac arrest.
The Climate Emergency Management Center of the Municipality of São Paulo recorded at least 36 floods in the city throughout the day. Around 19:30according to CET (Traffic Engineering Company), The capital city of São Paulo had more than 1,000 km of blocked roads – the highest figure ever recorded.
