The transposition of the São Francisco River is a project of great importance for the water supply of several municipalities in the Northeast, and the dryness of the stream in Missão Velha may indicate, in addition to problems in the system, the possibility of sabotage.
A video posted by the channel Lorim Aventuras showed the devastation due to the lack of water that should not be there after the completion of the mega-deal.
So far, Lula’s government has yet to comment on the situation with the stream in Missão Velha and the reasons for the lack of water after crossing the São Francisco River.
