In total, 12 performances, which were already scheduled and sold with tickets, were postponed indefinitely. The artist said on social networks:
“It breaks my heart to have to say this, but unfortunately I will have to postpone the next three weeks of shows until further notice,” he warned. “I’ve been touring since I was 15, and to be honest, it’s always been hard being on the road away from friends and family,” he said.
“After not touring for a few years, I felt ready to come back, but this decision was premature. “Unfortunately, the price that the road takes, the pressure got to me and I reached a breaking point,” he said.
“After speaking with my team and medical staff, I need to take time to heal and take care of myself and my mental health first,” he warned. “As soon as there is new news, I promise I will inform you. I love you guys.”
First, the singer should return to the stage on July 31 with a presentation in Toronto, Canada. There is no information yet on new dates for the postponed shows.
