Sunset Quartet shortlisted for Interclub Player of the Year award

Mamelodi Sundowns women’s team has Four Representatives on the list of nominees CAF Inter-Club Player of the Year prize.

This week, CAF announced the nominations for four categories: Player of the Year, Club Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Club of the Year.

Four Sunset Women’s players advanced along with some African stars from different clubs across the continent.

four sunset ladies are goalkeepers Andil Dlamini, Bambanani Mbani, Zanell Nafoand Andy Sivi Nkoy.

The quartet has contributed enormously to the success of the Sunset Women’s team over the past few months.

In November 2021, the Sunset Women’s team became the first team to win the Women’s CAF Champions League in Cairo.

At the time, Brazil won the first-ever Women’s CAF Champions League trophy by beating Ghanaian team Hasakas Women 2-0 in the final.
