SXSW – South by Southwest

I am leaving Brazil on my way to SXSW, one of the most anticipated events in the world of business and avant-garde trends, which is a world reference in one word: innovation. It takes place every year in the city of Austin, Texas (USA), and gathers some of the best minds in the world on various topics such as technology, biotechnology, marketing, music, gastronomy, attracting views from different countries of the world.

Therefore, I will now tell you why I think you should give the event a chance. After that, I will share here what I learned and what knowledge we can come up with from now on in Brazil.
One of the most interesting things about SXSW is that while people may have certain expectations of what they’ll find there, it’s often the things we don’t expect to find that give us the greatest surprises and inspiration.

In the last edition I attended, although the goal was to see aspirations with a marketing focus, I ended up discovering much more. There were lectures and debates about biotechnology and even NASA, which was much more interesting than what I had previously planned.
Generally speaking, what people expect from SXSW is to listen to and learn from the world’s best minds on many different topics. And they are right, because I myself use the trends presented at the event in my life, with the aim of expanding my horizons and applying them not only in business, but also in personal and professional relationships.

But beyond that, SXSW is also an opportunity to meet and interact with people from all over the world. I met amazing people with whom I am friends and to this day I have many rich conversations. The event brings together people from different sectors, with different interests, and is a great opportunity to increase networking, create new contacts, and even meet future business partners.

Another interesting aspect of the festival is the range of activities that the event offers. In addition to lectures and debates, there is also a wide range of cultural activities, such as music concerts throughout the city, theater performances, art exhibitions and much more. This makes SXSW a complete event that offers much more than knowledge.

Ultimately, the event is a great, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the city of Austin and all it has to offer. The city is known for its lively music scene and diverse cuisine, with restaurants of all kinds, from street food to Michelin-starred restaurants. And speaking of expectations, I’ll definitely go to one of these restaurants when I’m there.

In short, SXSW is an amazing event that offers much more than knowledge, and if you haven’t given it a chance, I highly recommend that you do. It’s an opportunity to expand your horizons, meet people from all over the world, participate in cultural activities and explore the city of Austin. If you’re interested in the latest trends, business, culture, or just want to have a unique experience, SXSW is an event you shouldn’t miss.
