Walt Disney created Disney Studios following three principles: Creativity, Innovation and Storytelling, and this made it possible to create happiness for all park visitors and experiences created from the stories created during the last 100 years of Disney.
It all started with Mickey Mouse, and today it is countless stories and characters known and loved around the world. From these stories, the company has created parks, hotels, cruises to provide immersive experiences that transport visitors to the imaginary world of these titles. All this so that people can have fun and escape from everyday life, especially in the fast-paced world we live in today.
Today, Disney focuses on recreating characters from well-known movies so that we can interact and connect with them as if they were real. We are transported to the world of happiness. Here in Austin, we saw Tinkerbell hologrammed inside the Ballroom D stage, talking to Josh D’Amara, President of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, the Hulk in real-life audience interaction, and a robot prototype. It was amazing to kick off this year’s happy SXSW festival experience! Keep Austin Weird!
