£800,000 offered to developer to repair Brunswick Wharf wharf wall
A developer has been offered almost £800,000 to repair Bideford’s seafront wall and build flats, design studios, shops and restaurants. The Brunswick Wharf land release fund, which the government has given Torridge District Council, will see the authority give the developer, Red Earth, £797,000 to complete the work. Torridge plans to give the first payment of £400,000 to Red Earth after the company completes work on the seawall and provide the rest when it starts building the estate.
