The New York Yankees lost four games in a row, starting a three-game streak against the St. Louis Cardinals in poor shape. They defeated 4-3 on Friday night and 1-0 on Saturday with LHP Jordan Montgomery on the hill after being traded from the Yankees to the Cardinals on the deadline.
