Double lung transplant saves two people with stage 4 cancer
Not just one, but two! Doctors have managed to save two patients with lung cancer, using the new technique of double lung transplantation. The patients had stage 4 disease where treatment options are very limited, but the transplant was successful and the two are now breathing freely.
