Manaus – Who said that good wine cannot be tasted in the high temperatures of the Amazon summer? The proof is the exclusive selection of the Belle Époque restaurant, which is served on the Art Nouveau balcony of Teatra Amazonas, for lovers of good music and haute cuisine, during the Amazonas Green Jazz Festival 2022, until next Saturday (30).

Fully aligned with the exclusive menu created for the event by Master Chef Brasil, Pedro Mattos, Belle Époque, in partnership with Opportunity Imports, has developed a special tasting where the audience will be able to experience five wines – four Portuguese and one Argentinian – served in glasses and prices from R$ 16: Gato Bravo Red, Puro Requinte, La Linda Malbec, Vallepêrro and Prova Cega.

The restaurant’s sommelier and importing partner, Paulo César Gomes, explains that the wines are new and recently arrived in the city, coming directly from Portuguese wineries in the Belle Époque, and that the tasting is a great time to gather friends in a unique place to get to know these new flavors.

“We have created a refreshing and diverse selection, which comes from limited and exclusive productions with which we have partnerships. These are wines that adapt to our climate, and at the same time are affordable even for the most demanding palates,” added Gomes, who will open his shop inside the Belle Époque restaurant in Vieiralves.

In addition to the wine tasting, in which the audience can enjoy five selected brands, Belle Époque at Teatro Amazonas also offers an extensive wine list, drinks and beverages.

Aviú, saúva and tucumã

Another unmissable highlight of the Belle Époque at Teatro Amazonas is the menu created by chef Pedro Mattos exclusively for the event and which will become part of the Vieiralves restaurant menu from next week.
