Who is entitled to pay PIS/PASEP?
Only those who have worked under an official contract in 2021 and have met the following requirements will be eligible for the benefit.
- Be included in the PIS/PASEP system for at least five years;
- Performed formal work activities (signed portfolio) for at least 30 days.
- Earning two minimum wages per month or less.
- Submit your data in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS) or electronic social network by the contracted company.
What is the cost of PIS/PASEP?
The cost of the PIS/PASEP portion depends on the time spent on the formal contract in the billing year. Thus, the more time worked during the 12 months of the year, the higher the value of the benefit. Look at the proportions.
- 1 month worked – BRL 108.50;
- Worked for 2 months – BRL 217.00;
- 3 months of work – 325.50 BRL;
- 4 months of work – 434.00 BRL;
- 5 months of work – 542.50 BRL;
- 6 months of work – 651.00 BRL;
- 7 months of work – 759.50 BRL;
- 8 months worked – BRL 868.00;
- 9 months of work – 976.50 BRL;
- 10 months of work – 1085.00 BRL;
- 11 months worked – BRL 1,193.50;
- 12 months worked – BRL 1302.00.
How to consult PIS/PASEP?
Currently, consulting the PIS/PASEP balance has become a much simpler and more practical task than it used to be. Learn how to use the benefit through the Digital Work Card (CTD) application.
- Access the app, available for Android and iOS;
- Login with Gov.br data;
- Select the “Utilities” option;
- Next, select “Wage allowance”;
- Finally, look for the base year, in this case 2021;
- The balance and payment date will then be displayed.
