In our country, vegetable salad dominates, which is a mandatory element of the menu at every celebration. But chicken salad is just as delicious, and its big plus is that it doesn’t take much work. You can prepare it even when you are in a hurry.

Crispy salad with chicken

Tender chicken is perfect for salads—both both hot and cold. There is an interesting variety in vegetables, but thanks to it, the dish also becomes fuller. Our chicken salad recipe takes it literally mix several ingredients togetherwhich do all the work.

Such a salad is suitable for any occasion: a party, holidays or a family dinner. It would also be great as a snack, for example at work or school. It is light, tastyand more healthy.

Chicken salad recipe

Ingredients for the salad:

  • 1 chicken breast (double)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 large cucumber
  • a few stalks of green onion
  • 1 onion (can be red)
  • 100 g of cheese
  • 3 potatoes
  • 3-4 tablespoons of mayonnaise (or sour cream)
  • salt, ground black pepper (to taste),

The necessary ingredients for the marinade:

  • half a teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 150 ml of water.

Method of preparation:

  1. First, clean the onion and cut it into cubes.
  2. Pour into a deep bowl, add sugar, salt, vinegar and water.
  3. Mix everything and let the onion marinate a little.
  4. Boil the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Place them in a large bowl.
  5. Cut the cucumber into small pieces and add to the potatoes.
  6. Add cooked and diced chicken breast.
  7. Chop the boiled eggs and add them to the rest of the ingredients.
  8. Grate the cheese with a grater with a large mesh and put it in a bowl.
  9. Add chopped green onion and juiced pickled onion.
  10. Season everything with salt and pepper. Add mayonnaise and mix.
